  4. This is a freeware animation player program for TrueColor animations
  5. in HHsYUVSq animation format. Animations can be played in TrueColor
  6. (or whatever you select) on the EGS default screen (for playback
  7. on Workbench screen incl. CyberGraphX WB you can use CyberTVPlayer).

  29. * EGS-TV-Player shows all sequences in the HHsYUVSq sequence format
  30.   direct from hard disk. The memory usage is very low this way
  31.   (also memory is needed to hold a frame in full size as loaded
  32.   and in converted form for EGS). Since version 2.0 also random
  33.   access harddisk sequences can be shown.
  34.  
  35. * EGS-TV-Player uses its own very high quality (21Bit) color decoding
  36.   routines. It can also show sequences in greyscales.
  37.  
  38. * EGS-TV-Player supports (besides a filename) additional CLI parameters:
  39.   The "Once" parameter can be used to play the animation only once;
  40.    default is to play as endless loop.
  41.   The "Delay" parameter can be used to specify an additional frame
  42.    delay (in 1/50ths of a second). Without this parameter, playback
  43.    will be as fast as possible (this is also the case for Workbench start).
  44.   Just close the window to stop the sequence.
  45.   If EGS-TV-Player is started from Workbench or without file argument,
  46.   a file requester will appear.

  48. * EGS-TV-Player runs in a window on the EGS-Default-Screen.
  49.  
  50. * You can start EGS-TV-Player several times concurrently to watch
  51.   several sequences at the same time.
  52.  
  53. * Please note that EGS-TV-Player runs fastest on 24Bit-Screens even if
  54.   you view a sequence in greyscales. This is because the EGS-System
  55.   dithers on lower screen depths, which takes lots (!) of time.

  57. Sequences in a suitable format can e.g. be created with
  58. ImageFX, XiPaint and Photogenics in conjunction with my universal
  59. modules for thoose programs or with
  60.

  63. the ultimate Animation, Video Editing, DeskTopVideo, Blue-Box-Effect,
  64. Framegrabber and handy scanner software for the EGS graphic system
